Her name’s Amy, and she was born on the 1st of November 1992, in a city in Yorkshire. She lives with her mum, dad and younger sister, Lucy, who is 16 years old and such an amazing person. Amy would show you a photo of herself, but really can’t be arsed uploading one, and plus she’s not exactly the most photogenic person, though if you would like to see one just ask (unless you’re a 50 year old man sitting in a dark cellar, with some vaseline at hand).

Amy finds it incredibly hard to write about herself in the 1st person without sounding like a complete idiot, so would rather pretend this isn’t written by her at all, but by some onlooker who happens to see the thoughts inside her head. Though not sure how others would describe her, she would most likely describe herself as creative, reasonably intelligent (though lacking in the common sense department at times), stubborn and clumsy. The latter part is shown by her large and bumped nose, which she broke when she was six by tripping over a door. Although she’s not such a big fan of her nose, she has come to the realisation that it could be useful if there ever was a competition for being the first to switch the lights on without use of your hands (just to clarify, she has never actually tried this before).

Amy is currently in 6th form/college and studying drama, dance, graphic art and english lang/lit. She is unsure of what she wants to do after this, but will have to decide quite quickly as her university choices need to be done soon. Unfortunately, she isn’t very good with decisions, and finds it hard to decide on what she wants for her tea, so who knows how long the important decisions will take her.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys watching television, listening to music, hanging out with her friends and occasionally updating this website. Her favourite TV programmes would take quite a while to list, but at the moment she’s really into Chuck, Glee, Desperate Housewives, Cougar Town, America’s Next Top Model and Drop Dead Diva. As for music, she likes to listen to many different genres. She loves The Editors, Pendulum, System of a Down, Serj Tankian and P!nk, and also quite admires Lady Gaga as of recently, penis or no penis (that should be a show to replace ‘Deal or no Deal’).

As you can probably tell, she likes to use brackets a lot, as oppose to footnotes. Footnotes come as an annoyance to her as she feels the constant scrolling up and down pages becomes quite tedious, and makes blog entries much harder to read. She has quite a few other pet peeves, but doesn’t want to add them all in here because it would make this page too long and much too negative.

Amy is quite a pessimistic person, as she found out on her school trip to London. It was a very icy day and instead of being excited for the trip like everyone else, she had to say, ‘Yeah, it should be fun, unless the coach slides off the motorway and we all die.’ Fortunately the coach journey went just fine, so she is still here to bore you with this utterly pointless page.
